Worship

Worship here at Cumming Baptist is first and foremost Christ-centered, using God’s Word as our primary source of instruction and encouragement. Music plays an integral role in our worship. Led by our praise team and choir, worshippers experience a variety of styles, all with the ultimate desire to honor and exalt the Name of Jesus Christ.

Along with praising our Lord through music, worshippers are challenged by God’s Word through the sermon. We encourage families to worship together, but we also offer these options:

1. Nursery care for children birth to age 3 (entire service)
2. Kingdom Kids for age 4 through grade 1. (children leave during the offering time of our main worship)
3. K4C (Kids For Christ) – Children’s Worship for grades 2-5. (children leave during the offering time of our main worship)

Step 2

Grow

Worship is a great place to begin here at Cumming Baptist, but we want every person to connect with our Lord and with the Body of Christ at a deeper level. That is why we offer opportunities to grow in your relationship with our Lord through small groups.

Here at Cumming Baptist, our primary small groups are Bible Study classes. We have groups for all ages, from birth to senior adult, with committed leaders teaching faithfully the Word of God. Bible Study classes meet at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. Click the link below to see a list of our classes:

To encourage personal spiritual growth through prayer and the study of God’s Word, we also have a Discipleship ministry for each age group.

  • Kid’s Clubs for children and preschool – Sundays at 5:00pm.
  • LOFT Worship for grades 6-12 – Sundays at 7:15pm.
  • Men’s and Women’s groups that meet at various times during the week.
  • We also offer extra classes for adults at various times during the year.

Serve

As we connect through worship and personal growth, we discover that God has gifted us for service in His Kingdom. It is our desire to help each person find an avenue of service through the discovery of spiritual gifts, prayer, and mentoring.

Ministry Teams are the action groups of our church. Led by ministry coordinators with the advisement of the church staff, ministry teams are comprised of people who have a passion to serve others in Jesus’ name and a desire to use their talents and gifts in His service.
